What was your first car?

Okay, I was hoping you wouldn’t ask this question. I could give you two answers. The first answer is, a ‘70 Oldsmobile Cutlass. And that is an honest answer because that was my parents’ car and it was the first car I actually drove. The second answer (and the real answer) is a Mercury Lynx. That car sucked. More on that in the next answer…

Any significant memories w/that car?

The Mercury Lynx was a piece of crap. I blew the head gasket within about 6 months. I also lost the starter after 3 months and spent a weekend parking on hills (it was a standard) so that I could roll/clutch start the car. Did I mention that it was ugly?

What’s parked in your driveway now?

Does your car reflect your personality?

Sort of. Or let’s say, it used to. I used to live just outside of Boston, MA and was more of a suburbanite. I now live in Austin, TX and like to think I’m a little hipper (soul patch, side burns, jeans to work). So while I still love my Lexus, it’s starting to feel a little uppity to me.

Favorite vehicle(s)?

BMWs (almost any kind), Audi’s, Mustangs, the new Charger and new Camaro. Contrary to my last answer, the 2010 Lexus IS Convertible is very sweet. Dream cars are Porches, Lotus or Lamborghinis…

Favorite vehicle…if money were no object?

Vanity Plates?

Nope. If I did, it would be something geeky or something related to the Redsox. I’m a HUGE ‘Sox fan.

Favorite Hollywood movie car?

Hard to pick - I’m thinking that the cars in the last 3-4 James Bond movies would do the trick…
