Hey, Eric. Thanks again for the opportunity to take part in your
interview series. I really appreciate it.
Without further ado, here’s my answers to your questions…

What was your first car?

  • An early ’70s Volkswagen Beetle. Great on gas for a poor teenager but bloody hot during an Arizona summe

Any significant memories w/that car?

  • Cruising the mall, listening to great ’80s rock. And hoping my girlfriend didn’t mind the worn out spring in the seat jabbing her in the back!

What’s parked in your driveway now?

  • 2006 Scion tC.

Does your car reflect your personality? If so, how?

  • I think so. I’m a family guy yet I wanted an affordable coupe for my commute to work. Plus it has a usable back seat! No kidding! No, it’s not fast but it’s black and has a manual transmission. Two requirements I need.

Favorite vehicle(s)?

  • Porsche Cayman, Porsche GT3, Audi R8, Audi S5, Audi S8

Favorite vehicle…if money were no object?

Vanity Plates?

  • If so - what’s on them? N/A

Must have car gadget?

  • I guess SatNav might be kind of cool. I’m not sure I could bring myself to spend the money for it though. My tC’s sound system is iPod compatible. That’ll do for now.

Favorite driving tunes?

  • My high school and college years were during the ’80s so I love most rock from that era, especially U2.

Favorite Hollywood movie car?

  • Eleanor in “Gone in Sixty Seconds.”
