What was your first car? An Oldsmobile
Any significant memories w/that car? I drove that car across the country when I moved from Virginia to California. One night in western Texas, the low gas light came on. I drove for miles and miles of barren highway before finally reaching a gas station. Fortunately, I didn’t run out of gas, but I learned that you have to keep a full tank when driving out West.
What’s parked in your driveway now? a Lexus.
Does your car reflect your personality? If so, how?Well, I think the moon-roof suits my angst at feeling hemmed in.
Favorite vehicle(s)? The look of a Jag, the mileage of a Saturn, and the reliability of a Mercedes.
Favorite vehicle…if money were no object? same as above
Vanity Plates? If so - what’s on them? Why make it easy for people to remember my tag number?
Must have car gadget? I’d have to say my 6-CD changer.
Favorite driving tunes?I’m totally hooked on ABBA right now after seeing Mamma Mia! this weekend. Actually went straight from the cinema to Barnes & Noble to buy a CD. It’s a collection-type 2-CD set, not the movie soundtrack, though. Pierce Brosnan’s rendition of S.O.S. was hilarious in the movie, but I don’t need to drive to it.
Favorite Hollywood movie car? For northern Virginia traffic? Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
