• What was your first car? ‘88 Red Mazda RX-7 Convertible – I was the only girl at my high school that knew what a Rotary engine was.
• Any significant memories w/that car? At 16, cruising was the best way to spend a Saturday afternoon. But, that was only after getting used to the manual transmission (and being able to start it again on a steep hill in high-traffic time).
• What’s parked in your driveway now? Acura MDX.
• Does your car reflect your personality? If so, how? Not really. More about functionality. It’s hard to see over all the other SUVs in Texas when you are in a small, two-door car. I like not having to borrow a vehicle when moving things (and more than two people).
• Favorite vehicle(s)? Lexus RX 400h and BMW M6 Convertible.
• Favorite vehicle…if money were no object? Maserati GranTurismo
• Vanity Plates? If so - what’s on them? N/A But, I’ve always wanted HAPY FT.
• Must have car gadget? Navigation. I have it built-in now, but before it was all about my Garmin.
• Favorite driving tunes? Sirius Radio has changed my driving life.
• Favorite Hollywood movie car? Tough call between the James Bond Z8 and the Rolls-Royce from the 1974 version of The Great Gatsby
