I Walk To Work…

Unfortunately, I’m not a car driver so some of my answers are non-answers.

• What was your first car? Blue Ford Econoline van. My parents thought if I was higher up and there was more steel around me I’d be safer. Lots of stuff rolling around in the back.
• Any significant memories w/that car? The bounce as the van careened over rural Indiana country roads.
• What’s parked in your driveway now? I walk to work.
• Does your car reflect your personality? If so, how? I don’t think this applies. Basically I work near where I live so I walk to work everyday. Living in Chicago un-trained me from the expectation of always having to have a car nearby.
• Favorite vehicle(s) I’ve always liked the old Mercedes - when they were a bit boxier - though not as boxy as a Volvo.
• Favorite vehicle…if money were no object? Ha ha - I’m so not a car guy. I’m not doing very good at this! Something sleek and minimalist that is well designed.
• Vanity Plates? If so - what’s on them? N/A
• Must have car gadget? N/A
• Favorite driving tunes? Lenny Kravitz, Lords of Acid, Prodigy
• Favorite Hollywood movie car? Anything James Bond would drive. Or The Transporter.
