I Want It All...

• What was your first car? First car I drove, 1983 Honda Accord hatchback.
• Any significant memories w/that car? My first car accident.  As a stupid teenager I was not paying attention to the road and hit someone from behind.  Messed up my car pretty bad but the other was ok.
• What’s parked in your driveway now? 2005 Volvo S40.
• Does your car reflect your personality? If so, how? It’s boring. :)
• Favorite vehicle(s)? That would have to be my 1989 Honda CB-1 motorcycle. I loved it wringing its 400cc motor all the way up to 13k RPM, it was a screamer.
• Favorite vehicle…if money were no object? I want it all, in one car: daily driver, dependable, comfortable (relatively), all-weather, inconspicuous, versatile, and exciting. I hate to say it because I’m a BMW fan through and through (the first car I bought with my own money was a 1993 BMW 325i) but it looks like the Audi RS6 Avant fits the bill.  Too bad it will never come here to the US, but I guess that’s the “money no object” thing about it: I could figure out how to import it.
• Vanity Plates? If so - what’s on them? Never.
• Must have car gadget? Don’t have any gadgets in-car right now, but an accelerometer-based data-logger such as http://www.gtechpro.com/ could be fun.
• Favorite driving tunes? I actually drive with my radio off a lot and mp3 player sitting at my desk back at home, but anything by Muse, Weezer, or System of a Down will do.
• Favorite Hollywood movie car? Lotus Esprit in the James Bond flic, “The Spy Who Loved Me”. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Spy_Who_Loved_Me_(film).  Who wouldn’t want a car that could turn into a submarine?!?!?!? WHO?!?!? :)
