Eric!

I’m a car person.. this is SOOOOOO easy:

  • What was your first car? First car bought with tip money from a job at Howard Johnsons was a teal blue 1964 Ford Falcon van that one of the motor mounts was broken on; you lifted the engine shifting from 1st to 2nd.
  • Any significant memories with the car? Learning very fast how to do clutch repair, install motor mounts, and the thrill of trying to go uphill.
  • What’s parked in your driveway now? Daily driver is a 1967 Mustang coupe, 289 engine.  Also 1956 Cadillac series 62, 2007 Dodge Ram 4x4, quad cab, extended bed pick up to pull the 2004 26 foot International car trailer that hauls the 1873 MGB GT to SCCA F production races, 2003 Hyundai Elantra (originally bought for my Mom - now our rally cross car and my son’s daily driver —- currently 1st and third in Colorado region rally cross in 2wd stock), 1972 El Dorado Convertible with a shiny new paint job and top, and a 200 Camaro. Oh, and the 1984 Chevy pickup. Finally sold the 1969 Charger.
  • Does your car reflect your personality? I think they all reflect facets of my personality.
  • Favorite vehicle(s)? Loved my Porsche Boxster except for the non-stop electrical problems. My 1990 MX5 was the first car I bought new and I would have kept it until I die but someone took the nose off it one morning. Favorite vehicle…if money were no object? Bugatti Veyron Convertible or a Morgan Classic.
  • Vanity Plates? Not at this time.
  • Must have car gadget? Rather not have any.
  • Favorite driving tunes? The Top Gear CD of driving tunes.
  • Favorite Hollywood movie car? The Shelby and Charger from Bullitt.
