Get It Past 200MPH…

• What was your first car?

A 1995 Isuzu Pickup truck with no A/C, Power steering, or even a radio.  My grandparents gave it to me because I could fit the least amount of people in the cab and stay out of trouble….little did they know.

• Any significant memories w/that car?

Yeah, but they’ll remain with my other skeletons in the closet.

• What’s parked in your driveway now?

A 2006 BMW M5 chipped by BMW to get it past 200 MPH, a redline of around 8,800 RPM and a little more “oumph”.

• Does your car reflect your personality?

The M5 is a “sleeper” to most people, and I hope I come off that way a lot of the time.

• Favorite vehicle(s)?

Ferrari 599 and Aston Martin DB9 or DBS - I’ll take either one.  I’m also quite fond of the new 997 V2 with the PDK transmission.

• Favorite vehicle…if money were no object?

I’m intrigued by the Aston Martin One-77, but I think I’d probably go for the Ferrari 599 if I didn’t have to worry about paying for it.  A Zonda comes to mind as well.  If we are talking about a track car, then we’re heading into completely different territory.

• Vanity Plates?

Nope - I do charity plates though.  Surfrider Foundation is the one I usually support with my plates.

• Must have car gadget?

Bluetooth, Nav, Smart Key, Satellite Radio…..shoot, I don’t know!  I’m borrowing a buddy’s Suburban for some extra cargo room right now and am realizing how much I’ve grown accustomed to the smart key.

• Favorite driving tunes?

Depends on if I’m doing under 80 MPH or over 80 MPH.  The faster, the heavier.

• Favorite Hollywood movie car?
