What was your first car?

• 1971 Dodge Dart “Swinger” with a giant dent, a sad V6 and one of those cheesy “foot” pedals for the gas.

Any significant memories w/that car?

• I somehow blew up many tires: one time I drove on a flat and wrapped the tire around the axle. Another time involved a sanded driveway at my high school. Fortunately, both events happened many years ago.

What’s parked in your driveway now?

• Two cars: a VW EOS and Jetta (my station car).

Does your car reflect your personality?

• The Jetta: Not really, but it gets the job done. A used taxi would work too, lol.
  The EOS: sure. It’s fun and can be tweaked endlessly, if my wife would let me.

Favorite vehicle(s)?

• MKII MR2 Turbo (GREAT memories with that car), Lotus Elise, VW CC.

Favorite vehicle…if money were no object?

• Bentley Continental GT Speed.

Vanity Plates?

• Nope, I would rather be anonymous.

Must have car gadget?

• Depends on the mood; Placebo for angst, Madelyn Peyroux for mellow.

Favorite driving tunes?

• Depends on my mood. Love to dance while driving, so upbeat stuff.

Favorite Hollywood movie car?

• It has to be the POS car that Robert Downey, Jr. crashes in “Wonder Boys.” It’s so sad and yet so funny. Is it a Yugo?
