What was your first car?

• 1977 AMC Gremlin. Beercan, I-6, 3 gear hand-cranker, blue with blue guts… she was a beastly thing.

Any significant memories w/that car?

• Other than the shifter bushings, the car was decidedly unbreakable. Boy did I try! Although now that I recollect, being airborne in a Gremlin was probably a bad idea…

What’s parked in your driveway now?

• 2007 F350, 2002 4.6 HSE, 2001 750iL.

Does your car reflect your personality?

• Not at all. Maybe a little. Yeah, I suppose it does.

Favorite vehicle(s)?

• Most any Lamborghini, Ferarri F40, AC Cobra 427, ‘69 Judge, anything that embodies an effort to be at the extreme edge of the envelope, even if it makes the vehicle impractical for general use.

Favorite vehicle…if money were no object?

• F40. Since the day it debuted! The car Phil Hill called ‘… dangerous and uncontrollable.”

Vanity Plates?

• None.

Must have car gadget?

• GPS. Can’t drive around the block without it!

Favorite driving tunes?

• Kid Rock.

Favorite Hollywood movie car?

• Sunbeam Tiger in Commando, the DB5 of Bond fame, the Countach in Cannonball Run, the California in Ferris Buehler’s Day Off, the Vector in Rising Sun…
