What was your first car?

• 1972 Ford Pinto Runabout.

Any significant memories w/that car?

• Was teaching Japanese family friend how to drive it in an empty parking lot and she never got it out of first gear. The car was totaled within three months of getting it. Smashed into a light pole in parking lot. Both the young lady and I (I was young, too, I guess - 18) ended up in the ER, and i had to get stitches because I broke the rear view mirror with my head.

What’s parked in your driveway now?

• 2004 VW Passat GLS 4-Motion Wagon.

Does your car reflect your personality?

• Yes, I like wagons and I love all wheel drive, I also like reasonable fuel economy (my 4-Motion is one of a small number with a manual transmission).

Favorite vehicle(s)?

• 1984 Rabbit GTI was my favorite vehicle that I owned. Wish I’d been able to get the Scirocco instead, but that would have been too expensive, and I’m too practical.

Favorite vehicle…if money were no object?

• BMW 328XI Wagon.

Vanity Plates?

• No.

Must have car gadget?

• GPS, Good Stereo, CD Changer, Tape Deck

Favorite driving tunes?

• Creedance Clearwater Revival.

Favorite Hollywood movie car?

• Audi S8 in Ronin.
