What was your first car?

• 1971 Dodge Tradesman Van

Any significant memories w/that car?

• Five of us took her on a road trip up the AlCan Hwy in 1971. 2000 miles of gravel road and nary a flat tire. Also innumerable gigs with my band in college.

What’s parked in your driveway now?

• Scion xB.

Does your car reflect your personality?

• Oh, yeah. Thrifty where it should be, extravagant where it should be. Ahead of it’s time.

Favorite vehicle(s)?

• Scion xB, Yaris, Fiat X1/9 Bertone, Prius, ZAP Pickup, Smart Car.

Favorite vehicle…if money were no object?

• Tesla, Fiat X1/9 Bertone converted to run Hybrid.

Vanity Plates?

• No not yet. Can’t think of anything I want to put on them.

Must have car gadget?

• GPS, Good Stereo, CD Changer, Tape Deck

Favorite driving tunes?

• Eagles when I’m on the open road or not in major traffic. Classical (specifically orchestral from the Romance period, e.g. DeBussy) when traffic is tense.

Favorite Hollywood movie car?

• DeLorean from Back to the Future.
