What was your first car?

• 1983 Ford Escort my grandfather bought me for $50 at an auction.

Any significant memories w/that car?

• The car was a piece and theres no getting around that. It was multi-colored and just plain ugly. It had vinyl seats so when I cleaned it up I always used armour all. I thought the shine was great until a “cool” guy friend of mine got in the car for the first time and made fun of me because you could literally slide around on them. From then on I was known as slick.

What’s parked in your driveway now?

• 2006 Chrysler Sebring.

Does your car reflect your personality?

• Somewhat. It’s got a moon/sun roof and all leather interior. It’s not too granny-ish if you know what I mean. I do have a baby now so I have to take things like that into consideration. However, my car was purchased by my father-in-law and he’s from Scandinavia where the price of gas has always been outrageous so he absolutely insisted on a 4 cylinder. Let’s just say I get honked at a lot. But hey, who passes up a free car?

Favorite vehicle(s)?

• old school Camaro’s.

Favorite vehicle…if money were no object?

• A Charger.

Vanity Plates?

• Nope.

Must have car gadget?

• Just a kick butt stereo, even though with a baby in the car you can’t use it very often.

Favorite driving tunes?

• Metal, Metal and more Metal.

Favorite Hollywood movie car?

• Living around Detroit I have worked in the auto industry off and on my entire life and you know what? When I watch movies they’re not about cars. I need a break sometime.
