Knew He Liked Me…

Introducing Terri Zwierzynski; Solo entrepreneur, mom, wife, dog-owner/lover, singer — not necessarily in that order and usually not one at a time! Oh, and a social media convert ;)

What was your first car?

• 1974 Red Ford Mustang Mach II. Four-speed stick shift. I thought I was so cool until much later when I realized 1974 was about the worst model year for Mustangs!

Any significant memories w/that car?

• The enormous rust holes in the front and rear quarter panels. My first boyfriend helped me try to fill them and re-paint, but it really was hopeless.

What’s parked in your driveway now?

• Blue 1990 Mazda Miata — first model year. It was my husband’s before we met; I knew he liked me when he let ME drive it but wouldn’t let his current girlfriend touch it! We keep it as a third car.  For practicality with 2 kids, we also have a 1996 Honda Oddessey (mine) and a 1999 Honda Accord (his).

Does your car reflect your personality?

• If “shut up and drive already” is a personality, then yes, the Miata reflects mine :)

Favorite vehicle(s)?

• Honda Prius. Gotta love 50 mpg, even if they are kinda ugly.

Favorite vehicle…if money were no object?

• Hybrid SUV. Not sure what model yet.

Vanity Plates?

• Miata - “ZMIATA” (our last name is Zwierzynski)
  Minivan - “Solo-CEO” - my self-defined job title (I’m a solo entrepreneur)

Must have car gadget?

• Sun roof. Nothing is better on a lovely spring day or a clear night!

Favorite driving tunes?

• Steve Miller Band, CSN (no Y), The Cure.

Favorite Hollywood movie car?

• The Batmobile. Or any James Bond car.
