A Tuna Boat…

Batmobile from Batman BeginsImage via Wikipedia

Introducing Jim Spencer; Solo entreprenuer in web site design, hosting, internet mktg, husband of one and father of two.

What was your first car?

  • I learned to drive on a green Saab 99, long before Saab’s were cool. The first car I owned, for like $500, was my parents ‘69 Ford LTD with a 429. Friends called it a tuna boat. ;)

Any significant memories w/that car?

  • I remember being out on a first drive in a town I don’t usual drive in and turning a corner and riding up on the curb, with my Dad sitting next to me or following me.

What’s parked in your driveway now?

  • Chrysler Town & Country LXI.

Does your car reflect your personality?

  • Not really. Not sure what would though.

Favorite vehicle(s)?

  • The more tricked out the more I like it. Most of the fast cars I am too tall for, so these are favorites to look at, rather than drive.

Some of the old Jaguar’s are certainly beautiful and fast, but tough to maintain.

Favorite vehicle…if money were no object?

  • A big Mercedes with lots of leg and head room, sunroof, big engine and great handling.

Vanity Plates?

  • Nope.

Must have car gadget?

  • iPhone jack.

Favorite driving tunes?

  • 80’s music.

Favorite Hollywood movie car?

  • Batman and Gone in 60 Seconds had a lot of nice cars though.
