What was your first car?

• 1976 Volare. Don’t act like you’re not impressed.

Any significant memories w/that car?

• None that I can share.

What’s parked in your driveway now?

• 2001 Lexus RX 300.

Does your car reflect your personality?

• I’d say so. I like the fact that it’s an upscale car, but I also love the fact that it’s been paid off for over a year. I appreciate quality, but also appreciate my overall frugality, if that makes any sense.

Favorite vehicle(s)?

• Believe it or not, even though I work for Cars.com and my family used to own a dealership, I’m not really a car guy. My wife, on the other hand, wants a new one every couple years. Maybe i should ask her.  :)

Favorite vehicle…if money were no object?

• I like some of the Bentley’s, and the higher-end Lexus 2-seater.

Vanity Plates?

• I have an Illinois Veteran’s plate, and you’re not allowed the vanity option on vet plates.

Must have car gadget?

• Third-party GPS. Those things are gold.

Favorite driving tunes?

• If summer, any old Van Halen (pre-1984 album). that music just screams summer.

Favorite Hollywood movie car?

• Batmobile… The old school one.
