Introducing Ed Diamond; broadcasting, radio, podcasting, reviews, digital life radio, digital life broadcasting, jkbrwn, video gaming, technology.

What was your first car?

  • 1968 Mustang notchback 1976 Monte Carlo blue and white interior. Stripped and repainted half ass restore! Looked cool though.

Any significant memories w/that car?

  • Yes, first accident, first date, first ….oh you get the idea! Followed by best car ever 1970 400 TransAm with Ram Air engine and 4 speed manual. I used to take my younger brother to hockey in the car great fun.

What’s parked in your driveway now?

  • 2002 BMW M5, 2005 Volvo XC90, 2001 BMW 530i sport and 2003 Audi Allroad. (Hey, I am a dealer and can’t say no). Just sold my Cobra 427 replica from Classic Roadsters, the guy who built the car put a 454 LS5 (550bhp) with a muncie M22 and curries load sensing rear. My son was the primary reason I got rid of it, it was wayyyy too fast at only 2350lbs.

Does your car reflect your personality?

  • Not really, I am pretty easy going. The Audi Allroad we had was probably more me, all the sports stuff in the back yet very comfortable & powerful car.

Favorite vehicle(s)?

  • 289 Cobra FIA.

Favorite vehicle…if money were no object?

  • 289 Cobra FIA and an Audi S8 as everyday driver and Tahoe LTZ for a truck.

Vanity Plates?

  • Nope, low profile kind of guy.

Must have car gadget?

  • iPhone charger because of poor battery life. However, I love XM radio and the news.

Favorite driving tunes?

  • Springsteen, U2, Tom Petty, Miles Davis, Diana Krall, praise music.

Favorite Hollywood movie car?

  • Eleanor from gone is 60 seconds.
