Get Your Hind-Side Toasty…

Bo and Luke Duke popularized the 1969 Dodge Ch...Image via Wikipedia

Introducing Kris Rzepkowski; Interactive Marketer at Hudson, Dad, Den Leader, Early Majority

What was your first car?

  • a rusty, Powder Blue, 1982 Volkswagen Rabbit. $500 bucks from my aunt. Nothing hot or cool about it, except for the VW logo.

Any significant memories w/that car?

  • To get it started I either had to hot wire it with the hood open, or get underneath and pound the starter motor with a hammer while someone else turned the key. Otherwise the car had cult status amongst my friends in High School

What’s parked in your driveway now?

  • 2001 Dodge Durango - Family mobile
2002 Chrysler Sebring - Family mobile with a drop top (Thank God!)

Does your car reflect your personality?

  • Nope. Nothing new-ish has enough unique personality for my liking. Everything that is affordable is cookie cutter.

Favorite vehicle(s)?

  • The General Lee. Hands down. It’s a 1969 Dodge Charger I think. I love it more for the welded doors, and the TV show, then the car itself. But I’d love to drive one just once and yell Yee Haw! The ‘09 Challenger would suffice too I suppose ;)

Favorite vehicle…if money were no object?

Vanity Plates?

  • Nope. If I had a worthy car, I’d have one that says thezips1. I don’t think vanity plates look good on any old family wreck through.

Must have car gadget?

  • Heated leather seats. If you’re going to have leather in Rochester, you need to get your hind-side toasty.

Favorite driving tunes?

  • I can’t believe I’m saying this…Rascal Flatts. I NEVER liked country music until they came along.

Favorite Hollywood movie car?

  • Oh crap, that’s the one I chose above, so I’ll leave you with my close second. The original KITT. 1982 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am
