What was your first car?

  • My first car was a 1968 Oldsmobile Delmont 88. Not to be confused with a Delta 88.

Any significant memories w/that car?

  • Tons of memories. Most significantly, I remember how I paid for it. I “worked” a golf course and picked up trash in the parking lot everyday for a month. My boss “paid” me with the title to his beloved ‘68 olds (it was a beater by then but he paid cash for it when he bought it new 20 years prior. I also remember not being able to see over the dash, I literally had to sit on a phone book to drive it. I was a tiny teenager.

What’s parked in your driveway now?

  • 2009 Honda Civic. 2004 Honda Element. 1983 Volkswagen Westfalia Camper.

Does your car reflect your personality?

  • Totally.

Favorite vehicle(s)?

  • Porsche Boxster, hands down.

Favorite vehicle…if money were no object?

  • Porsche Boxster.

Vanity Plates?

  • PGRULZ “Pacific Grove Rules”

Must have car gadget?

  • Chitty-Chitty Bang Bang features. I especially like the auto-inflatable raft feature.

Favorite driving tunes?

  • Jack Johnson.

Favorite Hollywood movie car?

  • Chitty-Chitty Bang Bang.
